Harm Reduction Can you guys please help me by clearing up a few questions regarding an IM injectable solution for avizafone?

Hey guys, this account is new but I've been around here before under a different account ( could not remember login info). Anywho, I recently got hold of some avizafone solution and from everything I've been reading, It needs to be IM'd in order to get the most out of it. I messaged the vendor to ask what the solution was made with and am awaiting his response, but Im guessing it's most likely just distilled water. If that's the case I will likely pour the solution out into a pyrex dish and evaporate the water off before adding a sterile liquid for making the IM shots.

I already have plenty of syringes but unfortunately I don't have any bacteriostatic water. I do have access to some vials of " sterile diluent" from a pack of parovirus vaccines I keep for my dogs. They come with two separate vials, one is the diluent which im pretty sure is made with benzyl alcohol but I need to do some research to confirm. The other vials contain the vaccine itself in a powdered form, so they are not mixed up already and the diluent is the only thing in these vials.

However, im not sure exactly how old they are or if they go bad or not. I just have a few questions:

1. I kept several used vials of diluent because they always have a small amount leftover in them and I figured maybe I could draw up a syringe full of it from several used vials combined. Even though I used sterile, prepackaged syringes to draw the majority of diluent out of these vials, is this still dangerous to do or is it safe as long as I wipe down the rubber stoppers with isopropyl beforehand and use another prepackaged syringe? Also, is there an expiration on these? I assumed the expiration date on the package applies to the vials containing the vaccine only and have been keeping the used vials at room temperature for quite awhile now for whatever that's worth.

2. I read a bunch of comments from somebody who claims he IM injects avizafone on a regular basis and he said that if the avizafone comes from a good source it does not need to be pulled through a micron filter as he apparently never uses them. Is this OK because avizafone is water soluble or is that a really bad idea?

3. Lastly, while I do plan on ordering some USP grade bacteriostatic water asap, I'm wondering if there is anyway I can safely use 95% ethanol from my local liquor store in the meantime?

I really appreciate your time and any help you might be able to offer with this. Thanks for reading.
