Can you get high off of Tussin DM?

Hello, swim is 5' 6" and 105 lbs and is curious about Tussin DM. Swim cannot buy or get ahold of any other DXM products besides Mucinex DM. And wants to know if he can get high for tomorrow night. BTW the DXM meds have a DXM/Guaifenesin ratio of 1/10

Example:
----------
DXM - 10mg
Guaifenesin - 100mg

Swim very recently has found Deslym Cough medicine with:
DXM - 5mg
Menthol - 5mg

Would this be better?

Don't use either of those. There are syrup with DXM as the only active ingredient, find that. You can OD on menthol and guaf if you take enough of either of those to reach a decent recreational dose of DXM. The guaf will probably just make you nauseous and vomit but the menthol could do both those, too, but I'm not sure exactly what dose of menthol would be considered dangerous. Really not worth risking getting sick from it when you can get the stuff with just DXM.

First, not to come off as harsh, but there's no need for the SWIM use on bluelight. It's explained in the BLUA linked in my signature below. Basically though, it just makes posts harder to read and offers no legal protection anyway. So you know for the future.

With that said, I'm going to move this BDD --> PD where you should get more focused replies.

usually, i like delsym, because they come in high doses. mucinex is also good for that same reason. neither the guaif or the menthol will have any side effects except for the guaif might make you throw up (shouldn't ruin your high tho). if it was me i would do the tussin so that you wouldn't have to choke down twice as many pills. a good first-timer dose, however, is 300 to 600 mg. dxm is an excellent drug and i highly recommend it. however try to find the extra strength mucinex with 60 mg in a pill or the 600 mg bottle of liquid dxm. but what ever you do make sure it has no acetaminophen.
