Alcohol Can you drink on SSRIS?

Yes, you can. You can drink on them just fine, however don't make a habit of it. There is no significant contraindication.

Once or twice or even once in awhile is not going to be bad for you, but if you start drinking frequently or every day it will start pharmacokinetically disrupting your SSRI and make it less effective.

It will also introduce side effects, but not particularly dangerous one.

When you drink alcohol, pharmacologically it acutely raises serotonin a bit, but chronic drinking will lower your serotonin levels.

I'm also assuming you drink a reasonable amount and not like a fish. If you chug whole fifth of liquor like a degenerate frat boy it could potentially be dangerous.
