In Canada we have some pills containing Methocarbamol 500mg, 8mg codeine and 325mg acetaminophen. I was wondering if one could safely extract the acetaminophen from these pills which I can put to good use and even better would be if I would extract the methocarbamol from them as well however I dont mind the methocarbamol nearly as much as I do the caffeine from Tylenol 1s or Aspirin w/Codeine (AC&C) that we also have here in Canada.

There are Methocarbamol only pills in the form of Robaxin however and most imortantly there isn't any information on this chemical and the starting dose is 1500mg so 3 big horse size pills your swallowing. The effects aren't euphoric like Soma but they are still noticabable in that they make you a bit drowsy esp you you take it with some opiates, benzos or alcohol, but on their own they definatley do relieve muscle aches and pains.

The Robaxin here isn't covered by insurance and it costs around 60$+ for a 50 pill bottle, they're behind the counter too so you cant steal them unless you rob the pharmacy. I asked my psychiatrist for a muscle relaxant, this was around 2006 and he gave me a script for carisoprodol but they dont make Soma in Canada since 2004 so he gave me Baclofen 10mg 3x a day. I threw up and had the most violent/awfull reactions the whole of the next day and so did my friends who bragged they never throw up...this chemical (baclofen) is fucked up and evil. In a normal 10mg-20mg dose you feel fucked up, wobbly-more so then alcohol or just as bad as with alcohol but your fine that is until the next morning when your waken up by your stomach and you start to throw up. In this case btw in case your wondering I went and asked my psychiatrist to give me meprobamate which is the main metabolite of Soma and it is legal/prescribed in Canada but this guy is fucked up and refused to give it to me b/c it would be addictive. This is an Indian guy that barely speaks english who sees me once every 6 months, he has me on 4mg clonazepam and 0.3mg clonidine, i had to tell him to give me less clonidine (you only need 0.1mg/day at the most). Someone should report this guy b/c he doesnt know what hes doing one time I asked for my clonazepam dose to be lowered and for the quivalent to be added in alprazolam. When I said alprazolam it was like I said bomb on a plane he was about to kick me out, he immediatley shut his file and told me I was a drug seeker and to get out, when I asked why he wouldnt prescribe me that he said it was also addictive.

So please can someone tell me if you can extract the acetaminopen from these pills? The methocarbamol is a bit stronger when taken with a bit of codeine so it wouldnt hurt to know this! Thanks

Peace

Reason i was asking is b/c i remeber reading on erowid that CWEs were specifically for caffeine and codeine pills containing acetaminophen or aspirin, precisley b/c the molecular weight of codeine and caffeine are similar they float while the heavier acetaminophen molecule or aspirin go down to the bottom thus you end up with the codeine/caffeine.

What im thinking is
1) i end up with the codeine and only the codeine or
2) i end up with the codeine and methacarbamol

But i hope i dont end up with the acetaminophen...it pissed me off that soma was taken off the market and even more that this muscle relaxant doesnt have any information in that medics dont know its exact pharmacology and how it produces its effects.

What do you guys think?
Thanks

Also it says methacarbamol is sparingly soluable in water ("soluble" means that the solubility is greater than about 1 g per 100 ml. "insoluble" means that the solubility is less than 0.1 g per 100ml. Substances with solubility between these limits are called "sparingly soluble".)

Another thing to consider is that methacarbamol is active in doses over 1g and not unusuall in doses of around 2-3g, wouldnt i end up with a relatively 'small' amount of methacarbamol? In comparison with caffeine where even 300mg cause palpitations?
