Opioids can you disolve pure codeine tablets under tougnue?

Id Imagine it tastes extremely bitter I have 100 30mg pure codeine tabs there only small but does anyone no if you get better and faster effects? any advice would be appreciated thanks

If you crush the pill into powder it should work for sublingual absorbtion l, but since codeine is a prodrug to morphine I doubt it will act faster. You can try just start with a lower dose in case it does create more effect although with a high oral bioavailability I'm guessing there is not much of a difference between the two ROA just maybe onset of effect.
