Can you damage your liver from a few days of adverse reactions to MDVP?

Last week I made a post here about ending up in the ER after having an adverse reactions to MDVP.

I was fooled into buying MDVP instead of Meth and I only used it 5 times before realizing that with every use it was making me more and more sick so I flushed it down the toilet.

But that last adverse reaction really messed me up, I ended up in the ER after feeling like death from hyperthermia, high blood pressure and rapid heart rate. The next day after being released from hospital I thought I had recovered and gotten away without harm but I was wrong...Everyday now since that incidence I have continued to feel sick. Its been 1 week now since I posted on the forums about my MDVP adverse reaction seen here:

http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/716735-How-the-hell-do-you-develop-a-sensitivity-to-MDPV

Since that last MDVP adverse reaction, I have continued to experience these bizarre episodes every night causing me increased blood pressure, fatigue, nausea and vomiting. I began to notice a pattern where these symptoms were happening soon after I took my regular dose of Oxycodone which I've been taking everyday for the last 4 years and I've even recently tapered further down to 20mg which is not even significant to cause any side effects for me and yet here I am suddenly developing adverse reactions everyday to my regular medication, ever since that MDVP incidence.

At that point I realized something had gone horribly wrong with my body. After doing a search online I found that "liver damage" can cause your body to develop sensitivity to medications because the liver fails to process the medication properly and the medication builds up in the damaged liver causing adverse reactions to even very small doses of medications. The symptoms of liver cirrhosis was also listed as "fatigue, nausea and vomiting" exactly what I've been having every night since my horrible reaction to MDVP

Today i decided to take only a small 5mg dose of benzo to help me sleep and soon after I became very ill again, which confirmed my worst fears about liver damage. I keep hoping I am wrong about this. i will be going into my doctors to request a liver test on Monday but meanwhile I would like to hear your opinions about this issue.

I'm not a regular stimulant user. The only encounters I've had was with this recent MDVP and just a point of meth prior to that. Can just a few adverse reactions cause liver damage? If so can I recover from this?

Hey

My theory is unscientific, but it's my best guess. I took a stimulant once and it threw my entire body/ mind off for months. It was like 120mg of Adderall- and no lie, my sleep, mood, appetite, fatigue, etc I had all these symptoms for quite a few months. And YES, it caused me to feel even worse throwing drugs and alcohol during this time. You threw off the physiology of your body and mind, and it's going to take some time to heal- and it will. Just lay off the drugs, eat healthy, exercise a bit, practice good sleep hygiene, etc.

That is excellent advice, i already started eating healthy today and i did my first excercise in years. Ive been bedridden with chronic fatigue syndrome so ive become very inactive so that probably hasnt helped either.

But i just hope you are right about all of this. It just doesnt make sense that i would suddenly develop an intolerance to my everyday medication unless i damaged my liver, i will find out for sure soon after a liver test

Did you actually throw up?

I wouldn't be too worried unless your liver is hurting and you got jaundice or something, but still... good to get checked up if you feel like somethings off.

I was throwing up a lot in th ER on the day of the adverse reaction to MDVP,

I have continued to vomit a few more days after, each time coinciding with my low dose of oxycodone for chronic pain.

But the most significant part is ive had pain on my right side rib area, since my hospital admission. It just feels bruised and painful to touch the the last two ribs on the right side and i kept thinking how did i injure that, before i even had any liver related issues on my mind.

But this pain on my right side feels closer to the surface, it hurts when i push lightly on my ribs, so if it was liver wouldnt it be deeper inside?
