This may be a stupid question, but if both my spouse and I have been recently tested for STD's and such and are both clean, is it safe for us to share needles? Obviously I'm not going to work her up a shot immediately without at least cleaning out the needle with water a few times.
So my question is, is there any way for us to get Hepatitis C by sharing a needle if neither of us have it? I know sharing needles and using them multiple times is never a good idea, I'm just talking about in a pinch here. Normally we each have our own stash of stuff but there are times when it would be much easier to share a needle than me spend 15 minutes cleaning out one of mine for her to use.
