I have really bad leg pain, does weed really help with pain or do I need to try opiods?
Is this about « restless legs syndrome » or arthritis (etc.)? Is "cannabis" even an anesthetic? Which sounds reminiscent of some old « too stone to feel » abuse of language... Indeed, only proper physical examination by health professionals will answer those questions - if you ever manage finding one who's prepared to deal with it, that is! Anyway i never considered CBD to be acting the same as THC, IMO one is better suited for long-term applications while the other provides very different effects in a matter of minutes, and consequently we can expect their dosages just ain't the same neither.
What's clear, at least to me, is that there's very little risk in giving CBD a fair try. As a matter of fact, the joint UN/WHO declaration of December 14 2017 suggested it had no place besides THC on a schedule, or more precisely that cannabidiol hardly justifies being internationally scheduled as a controlled substance at all. Yet « more evidence is needed » (...), which is typical of the UN/WHO when talking about cannabis.
In my $a¢rifi¢ed canuck province a senior member of the CSAM-SMCA once compared it to a placebo, forgetting to mention its severe 5 mg restriction back then:
Les aliments contenant du CBD ont-ils de réels bienfaits? – L'épicerie (2021-Oct-21)
Smoking being bad enough as a habit that leaves oral (sublingual) strips, still made of anything except CBD for the most part, while over-billed/over-taxed to deter use via economic punishment and despite an evident denial of the "buzz". Actually its main side effect is "dry mouth", only resulting from an awful chlorophyll taste i must add!
If it's having any effect i believe that would be by stimulating our endocannabinoïd system into self-healing, which means it may require a couple boxes, lots of ¢a$h and hopeful patience. YMMV...
There's a so-called « balanced » (1:1) alternative if you find out it helps better to get a vacation from yourself too, perhaps anxiety could happen to be a co-factor as well. At least it's no truly addictive opioïd like fentanyl.
Good day, have fun!!
