Renewed my faith so it did.
Sven Vaeth is also a wicked DJ.
 
I saw Adam Beyer n Timmo Mass at Lakota in 1998 then i went off tekno for quite a while even though JEFF MILLS N CARL COX remain oh n Sasha my favourite dj's ,but last or week b4 i saw Jeff Mills at HMV Institute in b'ham he was fucking awesome no records though a shame cos at the old Universe raves after Sven Vath Laurent Garnier Jeff would come on for the last 2-4 hrs and use 3 dex and his percussion drum machine .I remember once Jeff had two records in the mix n stopped them with his hands ,then put his right elbow on the right deck to hold the tune in place ,lookedd up or down to the thousands of gurning ravers n cupped his ear taunting us and all one couldd hear was "GO JEFF GO ON MY SON,FUCKING LETS HAVE IT HARDER then a chant of JEFF ,JEFF,JEFF" and bam he let the 2 tunes go at the same time still perfectly in the mix,I saw him lots of time at the Universe Tribal Gatherings ,twice at Atomic Jam n once at the Thekla Bristol he is THE WIZARD,THE PURPOSE MAKER.NO 2 WAYS ABOUT IT Ritchie Hawtin ,Surgeon i think try 2 emulate him, not Dave Clark a genious in his own right.
So was Adam Beyer n Marco Corrolla back in the day not sure wat they're like nowadays.
I'd Drum Codes 1&2,3,4,5,6,right up to 11 lost interest in tekno then, Construct A rythm was a good label ,Primate was and i think still is.Primate 0ne very first release is a brilliant Adam Beyer 4 track 12"

dragged a electro-naive friend(psy-only!...) to see juan ??? vs. ???? (a famous duo, south america or spanish late 90's) - kimball collins - shadow - f bones & who i have linked bellow, frankies sissy heather heart.
i didnt know who she was at the time...:-\ but im sure i felt her on the floor.! i hoarded so many flyers, must of been pushing 700 or something, and kept that one because of what a good show it was in general, and because that is what lit the fire in this friend for the the rest of his life... (rest as he may in his right) and i feel like saying Carl Cox was there also, but my mental picture of the flier doesnt recall this. but i keep remembering when i did in fact see him cuing in Faithless-insomnia(??) - thinking about it, CCx was another time w/ him, but q-bert and dj Rap were at this(caffeine tour?)
