A guy I know deals vics and xanax....

he told me today that yesterday he was meeting someone at a restaurant...and that person set him up....and 5-6 cops busted him there..then went to his house an raided it.

found 300 vics, 300 xanex..took his two cell phones..then he went to jail and they let him go after one hour with no bail..just let him go.


told him..that the case can open anytime later....and they will contact him in about 2-3 months about this.

That sounds like a load of shit to me....1 hour with that much drugs, no bail? just let him go.

He already has a new cell phone...that is all I was told.


this is in Illinois..

Is this for real?
 
One thing is...

the guy he got the stuff from...he owed like 5-6K or so.

and I know he pretty much as of yesterday blew all of it.

I wonder if he is making it up and telling everyone it..to avoid paying the guy and getting a new phone and all of that to get out of paying the 5-6k?

I mean the guy he got the stuff from would probably say whatever..its done..so he doesn't get turned in u know?

sounds pretty logic to me.

really?...where i live you don't rip of a dealer for 5-6k and he tells you "whatever it's done" because you make up some story.

either you live where the most easy going drug dealers in world live or there's something else going on.
 
I guess I can post this.

the dealer isn't exactly a dealer..we are talking pharmacy drugs here..and the main guy doesn't pay for them.


get my drift?

He has a lot more to lose then a dealer losing some money...
 
No it's sounds like the guy if he went to jail,is a snitch now.No one is gonna let 5,000-6000 just slide. And a new phone is easy to get.The guy he owes can track him down i'm sure,if he has half a brain.And do you actually know if dude was busted? Like anything in any papers or any proof that he was busted? If he was busted then he would not be released without bail or maybe he could be released on his own recongnicance or whowever that is spelled.But possesion of vicodin without a script is a felony like possesion of cocaine,or whatever.So is poss. of Xanax without a script,it is felony possesion of a controlled substance.Sounds like 1 of 2 things. The guy is a liar,or he is a snitch,or both.Both is most likely if he was actually arrested, so I would stay as far away as possible from this cat if I were you unless you want to end up in jail as one of his number of people he has to set up and get busted as a snitch.Either way avoid the fucker like the plague.
 
Regarless of who the guy you know gets the pills from they are a felony to possess without a valid prscription,and he would not be simply let out of jail like that.They do not decide*the cops* whether to prosecute someone,its the DA or Prosecutor,and they highly doubt make a decision within 1 hour and a case is not closed until the DA decides whether to prosecute or not,it will remain an active open case until the cops gather more evidence or whatever.So in a few months the can not decide to reopen the case,thats not up to the cops,it's up to the DA.Sounds like your guy and his connection are in more trouble than you know,as it may be a federal DEA case if involving pharmacy diversion,so you would be better off to cut all ties with the guy and anyone involved with him...

I believe both of you could be right....

the guy who he gets them from doesn't pay for them.

So if the dealer says he got caught up and has this extravagant story what will that guy do? He had a job, family and kids...he isn't going to come after the guy..

that is why I truly question the validity of this..

The dealer in this case is better off lying to get the 5-6K off his head and being cut off.

Ive known this guy for 20 years...and my gut tells me his lying....we will see.

^listen to this guy, he is making some valid points and his theory is very likely. this situation you are describing sounds very "fishy". i would avoid him completely, all this just sounds like way too much trouble.
 
Fuck yeah I am going to avoid him....fuck that shit..I will never deal with him again.....the story is crap....there is no way your getting busted with that..and getting let go one hour later with no bail....after your house is raided?

the story *may* not be fake. however, if i were you i'd hope it is a lie because nobody gets released after such a bust(felony possession with intent to sell, not to mention the guy's house got fuckin raided for god's sake) without becoming the police's newest snitch/informant.

it could be that the cops let the little fish go so it could lead them to bigger and/or more fish.

it could all be a lie or it could be true, idk. all i know is the guy's up to something or something's going on that would most likely not be in your best interest.
 
The best case scenario is that they were "bad" cops and ripped off his stash. Not saying that is what happened but its the only scenario not mentioned. Very low probability that this was the case, but anything is possible.
 
I can tell you I am not much of a fish.

The guy who is the bigger fish....if this story is true is probably about to see his life destroyed. And getting him is practically nothing.
 
yea, the only way the cops would let him out of this situation is if he brings down the bigger fish. you dont want to deal with this guy, hes going to bring alot of people down. or just that one dumbass.
