can splitting the pill have the same effects?

ive heard different answers about this.
is it true that if you take half a pill you'll feel the same effects but for a shorter amount of time, or is it true that the effects will just be not as strong?
it would be a blue star btw, if that helps....
 
uhh i'm not sure what you're asking here?

If you split a pill you get half of it... meaning 50% of it. You'll get half the intensity of the effects and it will last half as long
 
yep. i dont understand why people split em, rolls dont look nearly as strong as they appear to have been in the 90s/
 
Splitting the pill in half would increase the surface area of the pill(though not by much), so you may absorb it quicker; but, it is very unlikely that you would get the same affect as taking the entire pill.
 
It probably won't, but that could depend on your body weight and how much was in the half that you took. I tried this a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I felt was chills and heart beating faster. IMHO it was a waste of a good pill.

That's doesnt make sense, a half a pill has less surface area than a full pill. Unless it's crunched up, but you can chew them either way.

I think they mean the actual powder is exposed more then with an unbroken tab, there is probably a bit of coating on top from all the handling done. I tend to agree, I cut one in half and about 4 minutes after I started to get small rushes and my heart started beating faster.
 
You are taking half the dose so you are going to get weaker affects from the drug. The duration will most likely be shorter and you won't feel as high as you would had you taken a whole pill.
 
As phatass said it will be less intense and about the same duration if you even roll. for me the dosage in most pills is only slightly above the threshold dose. If I took any less I would not feel it at all. The only effect I would get would be butterflies in my stomach as if something were about to happen but it would never go past that.

This. But if this is your first time, and this is a good pill (120+ mg), it might be enough, especially if you're a woman. I think taking the whole pill would still be a better idea though.

If you live in the US, you probably don't have a good pill and you should just take a whole one (or even 2 if it really sucks).
 
if the tab is a good clean strong tab then you should be able to feel something , on the tabs me and my boyfriend love we use to just split one in half at times during the weekdays and just smoke a few joints , it gives you a great buzz ., but like i said if there good
 
Well from my experience, half the pill is really just a kicker. It's not even half a roll, it's just a small body high and the peak isn't really a peak, it's just a short jolt. Half also increases surface area, which makes the roll shorter. But if you gots a good bean, even half will be good ;D
