Hypothetically, if I were to synthesize Methylene-dioxy-methamphetamine (MDMA) for personal use only not distribution, would anyone one here be able to help me out who has experience and or is highly educated in organic chemistry? Thank you.
- I have already read "Rhodium's" Post on erowid for MDMA synthesis, although, I'm aware there are several different methods you can use to synthesize the final/major product but I am not sure which method is the easiest to prepare.
- Just so you know, I am currently and undergrad, (own house to myself), and I have already completed my inorganic 1&2+labs, Orgo 1&2 + labs, Bios etc..So I do have a solid background in chemistry and organic compound synthesis more importantly Distillation & Crystallization + lab equipment, apparatus's, chemicals, and rxns etc. The problem is I have never synthesized this particular amphetamine salt and I always like to be extra careful when preparing experiments of my own...especially in this manner. So please, any advice on the procedure, supplies, techniques, reagents would be helpful/reassuring from experienced chemists
- First quick question ( I have many so please clarify in detail if possible) does this rxn require simple distillation or fractional apparatus?
