Stimulants Can someone describe Amphetamine Psychosis?

When I had amphetamine psychosis I used to wonder the streets all over my city about 12-18 hours a day talking to random people and hallucinating golden coins and pills on the side of the path (think Super Mario Brothers). I'd keep trying to pick them up, convinced they were real, only to have them suddenly vanish the nanosecond before my finger touched them. Despite this happening literally hundreds of times a day I was still completely convinced they were real every time.
People told me that I used to mention conversations I'd had with them, or comments they'd made to me, that just never happened.
I would count all my pills/drugs obsessively over and over and over again convinced my dad was stealing them.

I think you come across to other people as being very, very confused.
 
It kicks in badly for me around day 6 or 7 with no sleep.
Audio and visual hallucinations that are scarily real, paranoia, confusion.
Thinking everyone is out to get you, even the mates you are doing it with.
Thinking your mates are stealing from you, mainly your drugs.
Seeing people's faces differently, every 4th or 5th person out in public would have the face of someone i had fallen out with a few days back.
Thinking people are following you.
I saw police with dogs and guns across the road outside the apartment, from every window i looked out of, barracading off the road with those orange barriers ready to kick our door down, even heard my neighbours voice reasoning with them not to do it and that we were good people.
It wasnt even until my mate opened the door and pushed me outside they disappeared.

Etc.


Its not fun. I always force myself (with downers) to stop on day 5 now lol.

Are you sure? Because the half life of atleast adderall is 9-14 hours so you couldve still had it in your system and ha, only way i can sleep on amps is clonazepam or else i have to wait days till i feel my eyelids closing on their own and resisting to redose

But does this happen to you, even after well you slept evry other night but i typically go 3 days, and i only sleep 3-6 hours usually closer to 3 which leaves me waking up completely obliterated if i didnt have my oxy and morphine to perk me up .... i just wouldnt know
 
Extreme paranoia, sophisticated delusions like you've been wiretapped, bugs crawling, sometimes on your skin, that kinda stuff. Someone mentioned that lady from requiem for a dream, and that was pretty close

I was snorting amphetamine sulphate. Half-life doesn't really seem relevant. It lasts 5 hours and then rapidly wears off. It doesn't just slowly decrease in your system like some drugs. I probably would be awake 36 hours, asleep 12 and then repeat.
 
Overwhelming, scary, and impossible to discern reality I thought I had all the tree people after me at close up they were doppelganger s from people i knew but all conspiring to kill me id be interested to here others experience s
 
I’ve never had it really, I was really close to it and thought stuffed animals were moving and actually sent a video to my friends thinking they were moving and they said dude they’re not moving just watch the video.. that’s when it was time to eat a benzo and sleep

However a close friend went to a psych hospital for amp psychosis and it was one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen. She was completely fixated on her past and telling the same story over and over and then when we would try to calm her down she would cry and scream we don’t get it and we will never understand. She thought she was making sense.. but she wasn’t. At all. I’m glad she made it out and is normal because I read somewhere some people do not come back from psychosis (around 10% I think)
 
So basically the just of what im getting from reading all your experiences, is its never the amps that cause psychosis its the binging and sleep deprivation that eventually leads to it
 
Happens to my mom all the time cause she has a mental illness and lots of meds.
People with serious mental illness should definitely stay away from hard drugs.
She starts telling stories that she doesn't realize are delusions.
She zones out and isn't aware of her surroundings, starts rocking.
I talk to her and it's like she doesn't even hear me.
She'll isolate herself and be very defensive if we show concerns for her.
Stops cleaning her house, taking her meds ect.
She can come out of it in a few days if she stops using sometimes the psychotic breaks seems to lasts for weeks and months.
In this case she ends up in the hospital in psych for a while. She's better when she comes out I'm guessing not using drugs and starting her psych meds again does the trick.
 
Does Meth fall under an Amp Drug?
Looking for help with family member.

Thanks Sounds very similar indeed , mental Illness sucks. and using hard core drugs makes it much worse,
 
I had a bad psychosis from Hexen. Man I'll never touch that stuff again. My etizolam vendor told me he sent me a 1g sample of both the powder and crystal version. Well the powder was 1g. The crystal was 14 grams. So I binged. And ended up totally psychotic wandering around. I ended up at my sister's making a grilled cheese sandwich at 3 am. She came out and asked what I was doing only to here me speak like maniac.(Was also on etizolam).
The delusions are a lot different then say LSD. With LSD I can look to my friend and say "man I'm losing my fucking mind" or realize I'm having and insane thought process and laugh about it. I can observe this happening to me in a way. With amphetamine psychosis it just integrates into real life seamlessly

Also shooting hexen gave me the worst abscess I have ever had. I thought I was gonna lose my arm. Being a 11 year BL member you'd think I'd know better. I definitely will not be IVing anything other then the occasional tryptamine now
 
Wow I feel so inferior to some of you people in here! When I'm using meth in particular, after 24hrs of me being awake on meth, that's when the delusional thoughts and sleep deprived goofy things start happening. One time when I was on the run from parole, I remember looking out my house window, and clear as day, was a police officer looking at me, a chubby dark haired man. I got off the phone with my girl and told her parole came to my house and got me. As I look outside, no one was there! It was SO BELIEVABLE. Weird part is this, I can smoke crack or do adderall and be up 2 days and still not be at the psychosis stage or feeling the loneliness from sleep deprivation.
On meth only, i go cuckoo after 24hrs using it and feel onset psychosis. This is why I am very careful when I do meth and where I'm doing it at.
 
My best friend was psychotic on meth for almost 2 years, sometimes more and sometimes somewhat lucid when he'd pass out for like 2 days. His parents kept getting him places to live because they didn't want him on the street but they were a thousand miles away, as was I. He pulled up the floorboards in his apartments because he was convinced people were digging tunnels underneath him to spy. He thought cameras were in all the light bulbs. He became convinced that he had $4 million and that his brother stole it by hiding in his ceiling and listening to his keystrokes on the computer. He ended up homeless and robbing people and shit, got shot in the arm and slashed across the face with a knife. He said people forced him to make porno movies and gunpoint. A bunch of stuff, it was nuts. He kept trying to scam me out of money, and everyone else he knew. Finally when he was homeless in the dead of winter, he couldn't get meth long enough to realize he needed help, and a mutual friend who I had talked to about it gave him money for a plane ticket back to his family and he actually did it. He did outpatient rehab for a few months and it wasn't working and then he checked himself into an intensive 3 month in-patient program and it's been like a year since then and it took about that long to seem like he was his old self. He still doesn't know whether some of the stuff actually happened. I was really concerned he wouldn't be able to come back for a while because for like 6 months he was super paranoid still.
 
Damn some of these stories make me much happier i enjoy my cocaine vs amps being coke is much more expensive and meth around here is very pure and hella cheap
