Hey guys I know this isnt some type of medical forum but I am hoping maybe someone else out there has had a similar experience and may be able to help me out a bit. I am a healthy 24 year old male although I do smoke I have excellent BP and I excercise on a regular basis. I also have asthma but have not had an attack in years so I believe it to be mild. So here goes my question:
I have been on suboxone treatment for a little bit over a year. I used to take it under the tongue but 1 day I decided to try snorting the drug and that opened up a whole new way of taking the medication 4 me. I never had insurance so my scripts always ran me a pretty penny. When I snort the medication it is twice as effective and I only had to use 2mg instead of the 8 I was prescribed which in turn saved me about $200 a month!! I have been since snorting my sub for around 9 monthes now with very little negative effects until lately. The only thing is that I am not sure if these effecs r from snorting the sub or something different.
About 2 monthes ago I noticed that I had a pretty swollen lymph node right under my jaw line on the right side of my neck. The lump is and always been completely painless. Almost like it is not infected but maybe just a little plugged up or something. It is not swollen enough to be visible through the skin but you can definately tell something in there is swollen when you feel there. It is still there but it seems some days the node is much less swollen than others and it seems to shrink or get bigger whenever the hell it feels like it
It is truly frustrating is all I have to say.
My other symptom that has just come on in the past week or so is my esophagus is spasming.
A doctor has not confirmed this but I can definately tell that is what it is. I used to think my heart was trippin out or something because I could feel almost like a nerve twitching in my chest really fast followed by an excruciating radiating chest pain
But every time this happened I would check my pulse along with the twitching in my chest and they didnt match up at all. And my BP would be sitting at 105/72 so I soon realized no heart attack there. But what really made me realize that it was my esophigus is that when I swallow a solid food as it goes down I could feel that muscle at the bottom of my esop. contract and hurt like hell!! I have never had any sore throat, fever, rash, or any other symptoms except that it seems that some of the other glands in my neck seem to be painful a bit when I put pressure on them.8) I do not always experience pain when swallowing just sometimes.
I know this was a long post I just wanted to be as detailed as possible so members of the community might be able to better answer the questions with more detailed information.
SO HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED SWOLLEN GLANDS FROM PROLONGED INSUFFILATION OF SUBOXONE?? HAS ANYONE HAD WHAT SEEMED TO BE A TWITCHING OR IRRITATED WIND PIPE?? CAN SNORTING PILLS ACTUALLY "CLOG" A THROAT GLAND?? THANKS FOLKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY AND ALL HELP%)
