Lysergamides Can psychedelics sober you up from being incredibly drunk? In my experience, 100%. But it could just be an illusion of being sober

I was just curious about if anyone has ever taken psychedelics while blacked out and suddenly found themselves stone cold sober but coming up fast into a psychedelic trip. It happened to me a couple times, where I was totally gone and drunkenly decided to take two tabs of acid. Then, I was suddenly back, wide awake but quickly beginning to trip hard and hallucinate vividly. The trips were a bit more sedated, but I was able to write and think as coherently as I ever have on big doses of acid, and remember just being totally amazed at how I basically woke up from total alcoholic oblivion into this experience, which really felt more or less the same as other heavy trips I've had. Another trip, on much less acid, I found that I drank like 24 beers and only began to exhibit symptoms when the acid was starting to wear off-- and as soon as that happened, I was stumbling and slurring and sick. It's one of the most interesting fun facts about acid that I've uncovered, it really feels like drunkenness just gets overruled by the trip except for being a little bit more tired and sedentary during the trip. Although, it could also just be a subjective experience and maybe in reality I was stumbling around and acting drunk. It really did not appear that way though, from my experience with both drinking and tripping and combining them.

It's just conjecture based on how powerfully it sobered me up (into a psychedelic state, but suddenly aware of what I was doing and very present in the moment, the opposite of my heavy blackout state before the acid kicked in), but I do wonder how LSD could maybe be utilized to snap people out of deep sleep or comas or things like that. Or dementia. It's reckless to assume it would work but this is the only compound that really just totally eliminated that mental state, cocaine can get you up and going again but you are still quite loopy and the coke high kind of just potentiates how fucked up you are, you're just suddenly not so unaware and are able to drink more. With the acid, it just totally woke me up into that hyper aware tripping state. It's a side of the drug that I could see perhaps helping snap people out of certain states, but of course then they would have to deal with a heavy trip they didn't ask for.

I once chugged a bottle of vodka at a party got shitfaced took shrooms later and was pretty sober. Doubt id pass a breathyleizer or anything but i could wlk fine

Mind definitely gets clearer, body will remain drunk. If psychedelic effects fade before alcohol effects, drunkenness will return with a vengeance.

5HT2 agonists & SRI are still potent stimulants just like D2/DRI's are. It why chlorpheniramine Isn't a sedative despite being a more potent H1 blocker than DPH, Also why DXM behaves like a weirder version of PCP.
