Can psilocybe mushrooms or cannabis give you flashbacks like LSD?

I know "flashbacks" are just brief periods of remembering an emotion or thought very vividly from an LSD trip. I have had a few. But is it possible that shrooms, cannabis, or any other substance can also give you flashbacks?
 
Of course. That should be a direct consequence of the first sentence of your post. If flashbacks are just relived memories - or in severe cases, a symptom of PTSD - then all intense experiences can cause them.

flashbacks can occur due to any strong and/or emotional memory, whether they involve drugs or not.

From this you should be able to draw the conclusion that HPPD is extremely unlikely to develop without psychedelic use (duh) though flashbacks are possible. BUT flashbacks are also possible for people who have used drugs because it's the intense experience that is the cause. And drug experiences can be a good factor for intense experiences that is correct.
It doesn't matter which drug, it can happen with any drug or even without drugs but some are more prone to produce flashbacks which are the most hardcore psychedelics, others are more prone to cause HPPD because they fuck with your senses at some level the most. I heard frequent 2C-I use and perhaps some other 2C-X can cause persistent visuals for instance. They should go away after a while.
