I have done all these things as an addict... I am worried that mixing my meds with these Downers May be a bad bad idea? I may as well throw in some benzoz ha.. but for reals should I quit now? I wanna drink some beer and sleep and take my meds but I don't know

well i'm pretty sure you can still take your medication to go to sleep.

all you need to do is avoid mixing cns depressants (alcohol, benzos, opiates), it can lead to a very poor outcome

weed doesn't really interact much with seroquel or opiates in a significant way, although if you are bipolar or schizophrenic it is probably deleterious to your condition to smoke weed with any regularity.

Honestly weed = sanity. It's like a medical thing. Gotta smoke ONCE a day every night before bed at least. It's the Seroquel which had been a trip. I am a fan of Downers but not if I'm sedated during work or school. Doesn't matter anyways I've gone to work strung out. Almost passed out.. Can easily blame my meds. Naturally mania makes one do stupid shit.. More than once.. I ended up slamming two that's it and sleeping pretty good but woke up doped up as always... The day after effects of a 300 mg dose of Seroquel.

Don't combine seroquel with alcohol or you will have a pretty horrible experience. This coming from my own and a few friends experience.

EDIT: Someone had been drinking during the evening, not totally piss drunk but not barely tipsy either. They then took their dose of seroquel for the night and what happened was, they suddenly found themselves to be nearly paralyzed, could barely move or speak, it scared the shit out of them, they somehow managed to gesture for a pen and paper on which they just wrote with the worst hand writing I have seen "why can't I speak?". Then I realized what's going on, calmly assured them it was just the interaction of seroquel of alcohol (of which I had warned them but they didn't listen) and that it would pass, slapped a strong nicotine patch on them and gave them their prescribed benzo and soon they came out of it enough to atleast speak and move again. The experience was so scary they vowed never to take seroquel again and instead opted for psychosis.

You probably know this but at least until you have a stable medication regimen it's highly advised to avoid all recreational substances. Just saying.

Oh man... Psychosis. I used to take 10+ Clonazepam 2mg at once was honestly better then dope. I know what you experienced I have been like that. And like I convulsed all night, couldn't walk, couldn't talk, fell on my face when I walked, it was like being wasted off of booze.
