Opioids can NAC be used in such a way?

i just took 1g of apap (norco's) and wanted to catch a lil nod. can I take 600mg of n-acetyl-cysteine as a "buffer" of sorts for 650-975mg more apap? only waiting 1.5-2 hours between doses. I have had no alcohol in 48-72 hours. does that make any sense?

does anyone actually think I can catch a nod bu doing this or should I just try 40mg tomorrow? my tolerance is very low and I have never been addicted to opioids. i did take up to 120mg of oxy a day for a week at a time every couple months or so in 2009 and 2010
 
Given that the FDA recommended limit for APAP is anywhere frm 2 to 4 grams in a single dose, you probably don't even need the NAC

Most people can handle up to 4-5 grams of APAP with no problems, assuming you don't use alcohol regularly, and you don't do it every day.
 
alright thanks. I got completely trashed last wednesday and saturday and can get paranoid about apap and alcohol. will the nac interfere with the hydro absorption at all? sorry forr all the questions, usually I can just UTFSE and figure all this out.
 
thanks. feel like such a noob lol. better buzz to take 20more mg 2 hours after initial dose or 45-50mg tomorrow. opinions?
