Stimulants Can meth be neurotoxic even at "Desoxyn-level" doses?

Neurotoxicity is neurotoxicity. Chemicals don't become safe just because you use a small amount.

Dosage does have an impact on neurotoxicity but it is not the only factor. Preventing over-heating, staying well nourished and hydrated, as well as avoiding over-exertion all help out a lot. Having a recommended amount of nutrients/minerals/vitamins is also going to help your body and mind out tremendously.

But in such small quantities? How can it be FDA approved for anything if it's brain damaging?

If FDA approves drugs that end up killing people or causing other unexpected health problems, I wouldn't consider their approval to be the best judge of a drug's safety. And just because drug seems to be fine for many people it doesn't mean that you react the same way.

If you're prescribed it for therapeutic reasons then remain aware of how it effects you then determine if you feel any potential risks are worth the benefits.

What are the potential consequences of the neurotoxicity if not abused? Are there telltale signs that it's causing damage?

Most of the negative/withdrawal effects are not really any different for me from other stimulants; dex, Ritalin, modafinil, even caffeine.
