Women have more body fat than men.
As a percentage yes, in total.... Iunno?
I don’t know where to post this thread so here goes . Can men, on average , take much more drugs than women?
I am female . I could always do our outdo as much drugs as the males around me . I know that there will be fluctuations , but Curious if this is the norm
Thanks
This thread strikes me as more appropriate for drug culture so after I reply I'm gonna move it there (I'll leave a redirect for about a day so it'll still be visible here in health and recovery for everyone to hopefully realize it's moved).
Ok so.. My experience is much the same as yours, I haven't noticed any especially significant differences, at least in terms of drug strength, between me and guys I've known.
I used to use at the same time, and the same amount with my boyfriend nearly every day for several years. Maybe occasionally I got the sense that I was feeling it maybe a little stronger, but not much. Not enough that I'd be confident that it wasn't just him being more critical or me being more forgiving of the same experience. And apart from that we'd generally start getting sick at exactly the same time.
Here's what I think, I think there probably is a sex difference between men and women when we arent tolerant to a drug, but I think as soon as tolerance comes into play it kills the sex difference.
Women have more body fat percentage wise and are generally smaller than men so it would make sense all else being equal that women would feel drugs stronger, and scientific evidence seems to show that's the case. But once you get into drugs and tolerance I don't think it means very much.
I've seen guys waaay bigger than me floored by waaay smaller doses of heroin. Tolerance just makes a way bigger difference than sex.
