I have been in withdrawal from gabapentin for half a year now, it just never goes away and by now I am really fucking sick of feeling like this. I'm wondering if I can use clonazepam without prolonging or actually making withdrawal worse. These drugs seem really similiar both in when it comes to withdrawal and effects (although gabapentin withdrawal is much worse than clonazepam). The last thing I want to do is make things worse than they already are.

It will temporarily help with the physical symptoms, but apart from that it's a bad idea. As you probably know.

it'd be better to just stay on gabapentin, if you think those withdrawals are bad wait till you see full blown benzo withdrawals.

In my opinion, it would be pretty counter-productive. It's best to avoid GABAergic drugs when coming off one of them.

this~~1!!!!

i never really got WD from stopping lyrica/gabapentin, but my fibromyalgia came back 10xfold and i was in soo nerve-pain which sucked but i got over it with some marijuana :)

if you are a regular pot smoker, then buy some fire weeds and smoke until you feel better. i know it is not good HR to replace one drug for another, but marijuana addiction is all mental, but gabapentin WD and benzo/opiate WD is physical and mental, so IMO switching out opiates/benzos/gabapentin for marijuana is a great HR skill
