Benzos Can I Take More Xanax With Codeine Tonight - Over 8mg xanax 500mg codeine

Alright I've taken about 5mg xanax already, did a CWE earlier for codeine 500mg and it has been shit nothing really too much and it's been 1 and a half hours. I've no weed to normally kick the slight nod in. So I'm thinking of just taking like another 3-4mg of xanax here since im off work tomorrow and getting fucked. Will I be fine tomorrow and is this a safe combo, I know opiates+benzos lead to easy od, but I have nothing close to a nod here, I'm actually a bit frustrated and without weed would really like an evening fix. Don't have any alcohol to aid this either...some red cactus jack, it wouldn't go off after sitting there for months would it after being half drunk?

AHHHHHHH Could do with some antihistamines/cyclazine/something else just to push this...Also forgot to say I took 4mg xanax last night and was fine, 2mg i feel but doesn't really have my balance affected at all really, just more complete anxiety release.

if you're not taking those big doses daily,
then your body is not accustomed to it,
and it's hard to know if taking more will allow you to "nod"... or send you straight into OD.

Personally, i think you've dosed quite a lot already,
and instead of being frustrated that you haven't reached "the nod" yet...

maybe you should relax, enjoy the high... and maybe you'll nod, maybe not.
why chase it?

Well,
you're expecting the drugs to knock you off your feet,
and this in turn is causing you to stress.

If you would just give it up,
give up wanting to get high,
you can really finally just relax and who knows maybe you'll end up enjoying the high.

Better to filter too much in the CWE than too little.
Can't you vaporize H in those "lightbulb" type vaporizers that they sell to vape weed in?
Would seem less wasteful than using a straw and foil.

xanax has a halflife of around 6-12 hours so it takes at least a day to get out of your system,
more if you take high doses like you do. I suspectyou can take 2mg of xanax only once.... at absolute most twice a week or your body will start developing withdrawal symtpoms, like anxiety, insomnia, cramps, stuff like that.

You better keep a drug calendar and keep track of what u take and how often u take it.
U might find out that ur taking ur meds more often than u think u are.

i'm pretty sure u'd benefit from doing less drugs and doing them less often

Oxies are weird to me though,
one day 10mg makes me too stoned to function,
other day it seems like 10mg doesnt work - until 2 hours after dosing- and i'm glad i didnt take more cuz else i'd be too stoned,
then yet another day i dont enjoy 10mg untill i take a small extra dose a few hours after the first dose.

Anyone else have that?

How do you waste it smoking it? I get the light grey chunks and I smoke it off foil and waste next to nothing. I usually IV but smoking will still get me to nod hard still

If you've taken a whole bunch of codeine and 8mg xanax and aren't where you want to be, taking more xanax isn't gonna do much but drive your tolerance up and fuck up your short term memory.

Codeine will seem incredibly weak to someone who smokes heroin, by the way... even 500mg. That's like, 20mg of heroin equivalent. Not a lot.

Just relax, have a hot shower, & call it a night with the drugs.

I find that benzos can sometimes actually create the state that the OP is talking about. Opiates have a subtle relaxation about them which can be removed by Xanax and leave you just feeling bored. The dangerous part is that you ARE definitely affected, but that's what benzos do - sneak under the radar and make you think you need more. More will eventually lead to a black out and that's about it.

Benzos are the worst drugs to try and chase or build a high with, especially if you're familiar with smoking H or other things that can actually get you an enjoyable high.

As Sekio says, try to just relax and forget about the drugs for tonight. Sometimes anticipation can ruin an experience. Also, having not much but Xanax around can be a right disaster if you keep taking more....

tolerance is a weird creature... however, imho, Id have to say that 8mg of xanax is, for me anyway, 100x better than 500mg of codeine. I wouldnt even take percoset 10s because my opiate tolerance is thru the roof, but 8mg of xanax alone flattens me (and Im by no means benzo naive either, unfortunately). and yes, blackouts are almost a certain guarantee, my folks/friends would rather see me on heroin than xanax, because xanax fucks me up worse. God help whoever combines them, and mercy on your corpse if you add alcohol and antihistimines and shit into the mix.
