Can I take like 12 mg xanax to stop 6mg DOC trip?

Benzos don't completely kill your trip, they just dull them out (IIRC, never had to use a benzo in conjunction with psychs)

I wouldn't take much more, but if you must then adding 2mg (max) would be okay (it could knock you out btw, and you don't want that). Wait a few minutes before doing that though, it doesn't kick in instantly
 
Yeah that might be the best thing, how long ago did you dose? (4pm says nothing to me, that's 20 hours ago)
 
Oh my, I take my words back about not doing more Xanax as you're in for a long trip (maybe that's a bad thing to say to someone who is tripping, but sometimes it's just better to know). Is there maybe someone who can come over?

p.s 6mg is a really high dose for a first time, most people find 1.5-2.5mg pleasant
 
Another 4mg xanax maybe ok? I have no real benzo tolerance

Tanks for any advice, I should not have tried such a high dose(in restropec but i thoguht i had recent other pychedelic and mdma trips would mean tlerance issyes

Xanax will not kill a trip, just quell anxiety. More xanax seems like a very bad idea at this point. I don't believe its sedative properties are strong enough,

The most useful defence a tripper can have against bad trips is the ability to change the setting. Changing the music, the lighting, the room or just about anything can have a huge influence on the mindset of a person who is tripping and this makes it an invaluable technique.

Consider also that challenging moments in a trip can be an incredible opportunity for the development of one's character and you may come to the conclusion that many others have - that benzos are great but really ought to be a last resort.
You can draw a parallel outside of the context of illegal drug use to those that drink heavily when times get tough. Instead of dealing with the hurdles that life presents they retreat to the bar, and they tend to be very immature as a result.
 
Thank you, transform, I had the ability to do this with other substances and power through fine ( it just the DOC seemed totally foreign , I'd have these flashes of perception that would feel like a jolt to my heart and I couldn't tell whether it was psychosomatic or having some actual physical detreminet) along with temperature flucatuations which has now allstopped (4mg Xanax single dose earlier on) and a more calm look at the whole processs

Yes avoid more xanax, there are serious issues involved with that such as becoming too removed from yourself and/or anterograde amnesia.

Sounds like you are gonna be okay, just ride it out man... just take it easy and make yourself a bit comfortable, accept what happened but distract yourself to kill time, don't worry.
 
Yeah, basically heading into blackout territory here, what with DOC being long lasting & stimulating! Hope you're feeling better now :)

Have a wee break after this, clear any tolerance & try a much gentler dose, I understand even 1mg can be felt, try that next time. DOC is oft reported as the gentles of the Doxx compounds, but 6mg is a big does for a first-timer! You handled it well!
 
and how sure is OP that it is 6mg?

6mg is hard to measure with a consumer grade scale. could be more or less... but still MANY people put even 1.5mg of DOC at 20+hours
