Can I Still Fill My Subutex Script?

About six weeks ago I went in to see my Sub doc. He wrote me a script for like 60 8mg Subutex pills like he always does.

I dropped off the script a couple of days later. I just left it at the pharmacy so it would be in there system.

I have enough Subutex pills saved up where I didn't need to fill the script last month. I havent told my sub doc but i have stated taking less then he prescibes so i would have a lot saved up if i couldnt afford to see him anymore. Well I couldn't see my sub doc this month because I couldn't afford it so it looks like the script of Subutex I dropped off might be the last one I get.

If I go into the drug store to fill the Sub script will they just fill it? Will they call my sub doc since it has been 6 weeks? I dont know what my sub doc would say since i didnt get it filled when i was supposed to and now i no longer see him.

I still can't really afford to pay for the subs anyways but i have to figure something out here. I am almost out of sub pills now and I really need these. I will really hate myself when I run out of sub pills if I don't get these.

What should I do?
 
I would call the pharmacy and ask if the script is ready to pick up, tell them you are coming to get it. That way, they can tell you over the phone if there is a problem. I don't really know what their protocol is for this. If you are going to need those pills for a taper off the sub, just go get them. If you aren't going to see that doctor anymore, who cares if they call him ? The script was made to you, and you are paying for them (i assume) so what difference does it make WHEN you get them ? I would just call the pharmacy first to make sure there is no problem .
 
Shouldn't be problematic, as stated by those before me. Just call the pharmacy and tell them you're coming to pick up your prescription. Should be all routine for them. They'll tell you it is or is not ready, and off ya go! Pick that baby up, and all is well. (including you :|)
