Opioids Can i smoke my poppy seed extract

Ok so i extracted brown opium from poppy seeds (about 300 seeds)
Could i smoke it on tin foil like heroin or would it burn, or not effect me?
Also, to add a little harm reduction to this question, how safe would smoking it be considering i have only a little opiate tolerance and dont know how potent this is.

Aren't these poppy seeds exposed to bacteria and even mold as they're dried? They're sold as a food grade product, after all, and the stomach can handle a lot more bacteria and mold than your lungs.

I thought you were only supposed to smoke fresh opium, from lanced poppy pods that were still growing, but I know very little about smoking opium.
 
In theory you could. IIRC, the opium latex from poppy seeds is the the same opium latex that comes from scored opium pods.

ErgicMergic makes a good point about the bacteria growing on the seeds.
 
K guys, thanks for the help, but one more question, can i snort it safely and with effects?
 
Well im a little dissapointed at the amount i got, i only got like TWO match head pieces (about .4 grams), plus it wasnt a "powder", it looked like black tar heroin and was sticky .
Anyway i went out and bought like 200 grams to make some tea and it was REALLY expensive at kroger 8(, i put like 4 shots of lemon juice in it.
I drank the tea and once it kicked in i smoked one of the matchhead pieces, i only got a mild rush, but the tea gave me mild effects, if it was cheaper i could get addicted.
I want to smoke the other piece, too bad i would be out after that.
Anyone got any tips on how to get more powder/tar next time? The only way i see is to use like 500 grams of seeds, but thats only if i can get this shit cheaper!
 
^ Yeah, smoking it seems like a waste, i also found out why it came out like puddy instead of powder. I cooked the opium haha, it was completely on accident.
