can i smoke it

really dude? didnt we just talk about this? What's the point in posting on a harm reduction site if you want to play no part in it? 8)

Its not that wise to smoke ketamine. It can be done, but its not that wise. The melting point is quite high making it harder to smoke, and you'd probably end up wasting more than you'd be smoking.
 
Sprinkled on top of a bong hit should be fine, but its very wasteful and from what ive heard it tastes awful. Youd have to smoke a rather large amount to feel the same from snorting a much smaller amount. Not to mention the fact that its not easy on the lungs and throat when smoking.

Id advise not doing so, and waiting until you're not fucking sick so you can use it properly. Christ, what is it with kids these days being so hard headed and dumb when it comes to safely using substances? 8(
 
if your sick with a cold, smoking anything would really be unwise and would in no way assist you in getting better and would most likely make you feel much worse.

Yup. You can smoke it. Put it on a bong and light her up as Thizz said. It works. It's pretty strong for a short while too. On the downside, it tastes like metal hospitals and feels kinda like taking a cheesegrater to your throat and lungs but if you really want to there's nothing stopping you. I tried it (once - never again) so can hardly take the piss on this one :D
 
I gotta admit I love the fact that you're going to do it anyway DXMKid. Classic.
 
I'm looking forward to the TR. Smoking ket with a cold or flu or whatever should be interesting. And messy. Even without excess snot my face was streaming from every orifice and I felt just as bad as you should feel smoking a bong rip of ket. It's every bit as nasty as it sounds but who doesn't like a bit of experimentation sometimes? I'm twice his age and really should know better but did it anyway just to make absolutely sure it was a terrible idea 8)

The HR part comes in the form of aversion therapy ;)

I dunno, google searches yield crap like this.

Easier to just ask here IMO.
 
I agree it's better to ask if you really want to know. One thing BL has taught me that if you can think of something to do with drugs - anything no matter how bizarre it seems - somebody on here will have done it. There's a lotta misinformation out there - smoking ket is fairly tame compared to some stuff.

Some British papers recently picked up the term "eyeballed" from browsing BL and elsewhere. Next thing they were reporting - in all seriousness - the latest youth craze of kidz dosing meph by putting it on their eyeball. Few months from now someone will be on BL asking how to get 1/4g of powder in their eye, how long it lasts and does it sting. Smoking ket was probably a similar bit of shoddy journalism and now it's real. Funny ol' world.

LOL how can anyone not realize its a reference to estimating a measurement by sight?
 
By assuming people who take drugs are fucked up and stupid and like to hurt themselves, then assuming whatever you want from the words they use.
 
^^^ This. It doesn't have to make sense, so long as it concludes "drugs are bad." See that kid smoking pot? He DIED. Marihuana kills!
 
I wish I had something constructive to post, but instead I will relate to your situation with a story from many years ago:

My friend J, M, and I were about to roll up a blunt when J gets this crazy idea to start crushing up little bits of different pills and adding it to the blunt. M tells J how bad of an idea this really is because pills aren't meant to be smoked. Nasty shit in the binders that probably isn't any good for you when it's smoked. J didn't give two shits. .25mg xanax, some percocet, some vicodin, and "one of his moms" pain pills went into the blunt. I asked him what the mystery pill was and he just shrugged. He proceeded to roll up the blunt and we began to smoke it. As I was taking a mighty toke, I could feel the harsh, bitter, burning chemical smoke. This wasn't just burning like a regular blunt, but whatever his mom's pain pill was gave off thick clouds of dark gray/black smoke. I coughed for what felt like 45 minutes. That one hit from that blunt was enough to me to quickly realize that we were smoking some noxious crap. I didn't smoke any more of that blunt. My lungs hurt like hell and my throat was sore for weeks.

From now on, when someone advises me that a particular method of administration isn't such a good idea, I tend to listen to them especially if they say it's bad/nasty/gross/unhealthy/etc...

Just my two cents.
