Okay so I recently recieved a solution of 150mgs etizolam dissolved in 15ml of propylene glycol. I wanted make a seperate 20mg vial for my brother so he can sample it as he, like me, also has issues with anxiety. So I proceeded to place 2ml into a 5ml vial but I but I felt that the solution was too potent for medicinal use, each drop from the dropper = .5mgs and I wanted to dilute it to where each drop would be .25mgs so stupidly, without thinking I proceeded to add 2ml of WATER! as soon as I realized what I did and that etiz isn't water soluble I noticed that there's some freeform powder floating around.
My question: Can I save a 50/50 water/PG solution of etizolam by adding a couple ml of alcohol or is etiz not soluble enough in alc. to make the solution homogenous? I don't have any PG and I'm flying out to see my brother in a couple days so I won't have time to order some but I don't want to give my brother a solution that isn't up to par so if need be I will give him the vial and tell him to order PG and dilute it himself. Sorry if this question seems a bit difficult to understand but if it's unclear for any reason I will try my best to clear things up, thanks
