can i not turn off that green dot that shows when i'm online?

i know staff can see it no matter what but it used to be that we could turn it off for everyone else. what happened to that?

i have it turned off in settings. both my online status and current activity. is it just that i can see it or can everyone?

If it's off in your settings only you can see it. Well you and the mods/admins.
