Can I make a solution of alprazolam with water?

Lets say I have 500mg pure alprazolam powder. I have done a lot of research on making alprazolam, and everyone seems to use alcohol or PG, because it is much more soluble. I couldn't even find one person who attempted with water. However, from what I've found online, alprazolam IS soluble in water, only up to 40mg/L, or .04mg/mL at pH7(http://www.drugbank.ca/drugs/APRD00280). Couldn't I just get 12.5L of water, put in 500mg alprazolam and mix, and have 12.5L of .04mg/L alprazolam solution? This seems reasonable dosage as every 50mL would equal 2mg alprazolam, or one bar. Which is coincidentally about the same liquid as a shot of liquor, haha. Anyone who knows more about this, please help as I have not tried this before and I am merely speculating. Thanks.

You'd have 3 gallons of alprazolam solution sitting around, does that not seem slightly unreasonable to you?

Lol I guess it would be a bit annoying but if I have 25 standard water bottles, (500mL) then each water bottle could fit 20 mg of alprazolam, or 10 bars. One shot out of a shot glass is a bar! Haha. Just seems easier as there would be no purchases necessary (=. Also, how would I go about mixing this solution? Could I just pour it in and stir? Should it sit for a few hours or a day? Sorry I don't know the most about this stuff but it seems reasonable to me. Thanks for the help.
 
I thought alprazolam (xanax) was insoluble in water. Am i missing something? I think you need to add some alcohol to make it soluble not sure though.
 
It is BARELY soluble in water, at least according to everything I found online, including the link I posted in the original post, at 40 micrograms /milliliter. Which is why such a large amount of water would be needed. If I am wrong, please correct me.
 
But what if you are wrong and it's only soluble 10-20mg/L, then you dump your product and it precipitates? Then you would have to boil all that water out
 
hmm if it was not as soluble as i found online, could I just add alcohol to it? The reason i want this is so i dont have to dose such tiny amounts of liquid, and i think having a less potent liquid divided much more would be more safe.

Or it could make you drink a ton of it in a blackout...
 
Well maybe theoretically I wanted to sell it, and selling milliliters of a liquid at a time doesnt seem practical.
