Can i just take antibiotics after lump and pain from iv meth

I have been a meth user for about 10 years but iv using the last 2. I've had misses a bunch of times and i just massage, apply heat and cold and use a different site for a while. Well recently I've been having a hard time hitting everywhere except one vein in my left arm. Now i already know... Use a new syringe every time, don't push the plunger down if there's pain, all the preventive measures however what's done is done. I have been shooting into the same vein with the same 2 points for about 10 days, several times a day. I've had maybe 3 minor misses which i did massage, and apply heat and cold to each time but i did not change sites. Now the entire area is hard probably 2 inches in diameter which is not very alarming to me, seems like a miss. I'm worried because the heat and cold compressions don't seem to be helping it go down and its super painful from halfway to should to halfway to wrist. There's no puss that i can see and theres no red lines but it hurts so bad. Do you think i can just take some keflex or bactrim and not worry or should i suck it up and go to the hospital?

this is very foolish as iv can not only cause stds to be transmitted(such as hiv)but can ALSO result in amputations(my friend had their leg amputated and was lucky they could afford top dollar medical care and got a prostetic leg also had to get new liver from alcohol and co codomal abuse(again being rich is very helpful) but people like you probably wont be able to afford a premium liver unless your in china my friend has another fully fresh healthy one in reserve once his current one kicks it their specialist surgeon who stands by at a moments notice will sort out the rest this is great because they dont have to worry about any organ damage from drug use as they can just buy another 1 heck technically they could buy a fresh body any age, any height, any type tho its bloody expensive.

anyway YOU WONT BE ABLE TO BUY A NEW BODY so look after it you only have one unless you have millions of dollars

The problem with only taking antibiotics is you may not be doing anything helpful as your just guessing you have an infection. If you have been injecting / using for 10 years you will have seen what happens when you get an infection and you know the complications associated with them so I would suggest seeking medical help.

Get medical attention ASAP. Don't guess which is the right antibiotic for an infection, and don't assume it's an infection as there are other possibilities-some that may prove fatal. Not worth the risk.

Ok so i seriously appreciate the responses. I did not go to the doc but i did stop using... Today was day 3. I have gotten clean before but always either in detox, rehab or jail. Last night i started convulsing everytime i tried to falls asleep. I haven't used anything at all in the last 3 days and before that just meth. I have never had convulsions nor have i ever heard of anyone else having the due to meth withdrawals.... What the hell is going on with me. I'm losing it!
