Can I get some opinions on Heroin and Dilaudid detoxing

I am trying to figure out if it is easier to detox off of Dilaudid or Heroin. I have done this with the dillies but never with Heroin.
I am getting ready to take a trip and I have Subs that i am taking with me. I can over a 2 week period completely get over the hardest parts but am not sure if it will be the same and as easy if i leave with Heroin being my last drug taken.

Can you guys tell me anything about Heroin and getting off. Will the subs work the same with heroin as they did with the dillies?

Subs work the same with heroin as with Dilaudid. I've never experienced serious w/d off either one, but I've certainly used both, and from what I understand the withdrawals from Dilaudid can actually be more severe, as it has a shorter half-life so you're going up and down more than with heroin. It really depends on your dosage and the length of time using to be able to give you any sense of how bad your withdrawals will be. But over 2 weeks, especially with no other obligations, etc. you should be fine, especially with some other helpers (benzos, muscle relaxers, Loperamide, Benadryl, cannabis, etc.).

For me it felt the same coming off both. As both are short acting opiates. If the Suboxone worked for you coming off Dilaudid it should work for you coming off of Heroin.

I personally had a HUGE pill habit. I came off of Oxy and Dilaudid with Suboxone but relapsed when I got out of rehab on Heroin. Suboxone didn't really work well for me. I've been on opiates since I was 14 (I'm 24 now) and started IVing Oxy and Dilaudid 2 years ago. I just started Methadone to get off Heroin and it's been working great.

Anyway, long story short, if Suboxone worked for you coming off Dilaudid then it should help you come off Heroin. Methadone just worked waay better for me in my case. Just make sure you don't have opiates in your system when you take Suboxone... God I'd rather die then ever go through precipitated withdrawl ever again.
