can i get in trouble for going to differenct doctors?

yes you can get into trouble for "Doctor shopping" if you want to change doctors both your new doc and your old doc will exchange information (with your permition), but you have to give your permission or you won't be able to persuade a doc to give you meds without knowing your medical history....

this is retarded. if youre going to doctors to get different meds and go to pay with insurance it pops up. They call your doctor. i didnt mean i was seeing 3 doctors i meants basically one uped my dose, then gave me pink adderall and got mad after he said i could find someone to prescribe me my meds, then he has said that he would continue and didnt. then i had to go back to my old shitty ass doctor who just asks for my money. Its retarded. He Actually sent me a check for NO REASON for 60 dollars. he was mad and he had no problem giving me temazepam and klonopin (NOT WHAT I WANTED) and said no to xanax? fucking weirdo. I know if your in need of help theres no way a good doctor will deny you service i brought in all my meds and gave them to my doctor whom just informed me I need to call a pschiatrist so Im glad i kept my apt with this guy for the 4th. She told me shed put me on celexia? I told her I didnt get all my dexedrine filled and I also admitted to being dependent on benzos. She then retardly forgot to give me anything BUT xanax. I dont quite get it and then I fill it at a walgreens that let some asshole STEAL 15 Restoril from me and never got introuble he still works there, anyway they said my insurance wouldnt cover it and I immediatly told them dont care. yes theres typos do i care no. bottom line if your doctors being shitty go find one and tell them the issues youve been having with prior doctors. Its not hard and ITS NOT SHOPPING when you Need the medicine phsyically and mentally thats just cruel and fucked up people wake uuuupppp jeeezzzzz.8):\

^^ is that a diss? its a bit ambiguous...
Def Not! Im just saying look fuckers. I have been through soo many doctors FOR REAL HELP and its not going to get you introuble going to more than 5 or 6 to find the right one getting multiple scripts. If they wanna be helping you they will and wont mind the red flag Trust me on that. A shit doctor will say no to your pain. Thats all im saying If that makes sense at alllll

I see three doctors and none are aware of this but one is my psychiatrist, the other my physician and the other my Suboxone doctor so I'm not searching for the same meds. That is when you can get into trouble. My physician prescribed me Lyrica, Sub doc the Sub, and psychiatrist my desoxyn and adderall. So those are the "controlled substances" I'm on. I don't get into trouble most likely because my insurance doesn't show up with the same medications being prescribed from different doctors.

My Desoxyn and Adderall are prescribed by the same doctor but if one were from another I'd most likely get into trouble. I'm on 30mg Desoxyn and 30mg Adderall XR

It's also likely that the parameters the insurance company has set to flag the system have cost and frequency components built in and that they're more concerned with what you're costing them than whether you're drug-seeking per se.

In the states which maintain databases of the supply of controlled substances, it doesn't appear to be mandatory for either doctors or pharmacists to check the database or to file reports on it, so the likelihood of "getting into trouble" for doctor shopping seems questionable.
