Opioids Can I freeze my Methadone take home drinks?

Long story short I'm trying to make them last as long as possible & I remember reading a thread where someone did this but they never reported back... so I guess my questions how long will my methadone take home drinks that are mixed with tang powder as standard practice last without going rancid and completely bad the same way it would in the fridge?


If anyone has personal experience with this is or is knowledgeable about the subject please share any opinions.
 
It's can be find in fridge for 6+months perhaps even a year. I've had surplus carries in fridge 10months drank it, potent effects, slightly sour if anything as the powdered tang oj will turn a bit....but the molecular structure of Methadone will be fine in a really cold fridge / crisper / packed in with other cold items
 
Yes, it will be fine. Like @Dextro .45 said, it will keep for a long time. I know of folks who have kept juice in their fridge for a year. I suspect it would keep for much, much longer. I really don't know. It wouldn't surprise me if it kept for 5 or 10 years.
 
Okay good to know as I already put it into the freezer as I ALWAYS notice the tang powder it's mixed with start to go sour after only 1 week so I've been switching it with a new bottle once a week but I thought I'd try freezing it this time as I know research says it at roughly day 43 that the bacteria reaches unacceptable levels when it's refrigerated I never ever looked up about using the freezer & how long it'll last or more importantly if like that'll even work without some major problem.
 
I’ve found it keeps well frozen..you may do this and it should prolong the life of your methadone
