wondering what 3mg will feel like. never taken this benzo before and has been at least 3 weeks since ive had any kinds of pills at all.

Depends on your tolerance is the conversion chart that is linked to at the top on the forum says its about the same as 30mgs of Diaz. To someone with no Benzo tolerance that's quite a hefty dose so it depends on if you have been taking Benzos before how long for and to what level.

I'm pretty certain I havent tried it althought I'm not sure, it was more likely Loprazolam and I only had a small script so not sure on the effects but Google is you friend on that one .

Out of all the Benzos ive tried this was probably my least favourite. (Recreationally + Medicinally)

That's just my opinion though, some people love it, some hate it (same goes with most things though really)

I do know that it's one of if not the most commonly prescribed Benzos for Anxiety and is known for its very potent Anxylotic properties. (IME) It's the least sedating Benzo ive ever tried, in fact out of all the Benzos ive ever tried this is by far the most subtle which maybe why it's so highly prescribed due to the fact that it's almost unoticeable effects allow people to use it without it interfering in the way they live there life.

That's all just my opinion and experience with regards to Lorazepam though, you may love it? But to me i'd have ANY OTHER Benzo given the choice.

I think you may feel something, be careful if you decided to take anything else....alcohol is probably a bad idea, opiates the same, but Loraz is always fun for me! I do smoke a little herb too which may potentiate? Lorazepam sublingually tastes so sweet and may hit you faster...

I like it myself & when mixed with hydrocodone, its awesome but I dont recommend mixing it unless you have experience with both. As for taking 3mg's, it may be a bit much but like others have stated, you only know what your tolerance is...........

It all comes down to body chemistry as well as what effects you're looking for.
Lorazepam to me, is a funny one..
Some ppl find it very sedating..and recreational...
not my experience w/it however.
Never having injested it..
you might find a lower than 3mg dose works quite fine.
As with anything new..
start low..there shouldn't be too much of an issue..
to redose to get you up to the 3mg. if finding yourself unhappy w/your current low-dose state..
and remember no driving until you're able to properly guage your effects.

It does seem to work for it's intended purpose..ie. what it's rx'd for..
but I find it subtle IME.
I agree w/pally pete..It's lack of sedation for most...seems to make it easier to get your hands on.

If your benzo tolerance is low, then you'll definitely feel something out of 3 mg lorazepam. In fact, depending on how low your tolerance is it may be a bit much.

I take 1mg for anxiety as needed. I can usually feel something when I take it. Its not a speedy high or anything, more mellow floaty high. Doesn't last long though. Start small since this is your first time. You might be able to take the rest to prolong your high when you start to come down. But I agree with everyone else. 3mg is alot right out the gate.

Used to be prescribed Loraz. And I hate it because of the reaction it gave me. I did get sedated, but it was more...of a dirty feeling...I can't describe it any other way. And when I smoked cigarettes on it..for some reason Loraz in particular made my body I think too relaxed or something, because the a normal sized drag of a cigarette would leave me coughing, and a couple hits of bud would almost have me throwing up. In fact, I have thrown up many a time thanks to Ativan + Weed...it just didn't work well for me. After that I was switched to Alprazolam and then Clonazepam (which I'm still prescribed, so much better) but as far as potency goes,
3mg Lorazepam (intermediate acting?) = 1.5mg Clonazepam (less intense, long acting) = 1.5mg Alprazolam (more intense, short acting)

If you've ever taken Xanax, you'd be taken the equivalency to a bar and a half, but the feeling is different. Every benzodiazepene has a different feel to it, even though they are very similar. Some like some more than others.

One thing I remember distinctly reading about ~1yr ago on this site was Phenazepam. I bet that's going to get some people commenting. Hahaha. There are some serious horror stories of this drug out there where people couldn't remember weeks of their life!

I actually laughed out loud at this. Next to Alpraz, Loraz is the WORST tasting shit I've ever had under my tongue.

My lorazepam taste mildly sweet as well.

On a low tolerance 2mg gave me an enjoyable buzz.

Without tolerance, 3mg should be fine to take. Not a real popular benzo for recreational use; I find it to be a last resort and the effects can be quite boring sometimes.

Although that's IMO, I have friends that enjoy it recreationally.

when i was prescribed ativan my pills tasted a little sweet kinda like chalk candy but nothing like the minty sweetness of some klonopin

Benzos aren't going to provide "euphoria" to those who are used to the euphoria of other drugs such as opiates. However, for many people with anxiety, etc, benzos do provide euphoria.

Since we're not really here to help you get high and I'm sure you've since taken the 3mg lorazepam (as kokaino and others have said, 3mg is a bit high for somebody without a tolerance, I would have started in the 1-2mg range)..I'm going to close this thread. PM me if you have any questions.
