Opioids Can I cut fentanyl patches i half?

Hi my friends, i'm on 50 mg fentanyl patches for the last few weeks but they keep on falling off, can I cut them in half to save them? also what can i use to keep them on? ive tried sellotape to no avail, are they very addictive? Im no stranger to opiates, im also on Palexia and 240mg codeine a day. i also abuse benzos and pregabalin. Thanks!!!

Depends on what kind of patch they are, I think you can cut the milan brand in half.

Yes and fentanyl will skyrock your tolerance.

Don't mix CNS depressants, it can lead to increased respiratory depression and in the worst case death.

Try washing and thoroughly drying your skin before applying.

And you probably mean 50ug

If they are matrix patches (look like a big sticker; don't have gel) then yes you can cut in half

I've used plain adhesive tape. As well as medical tape.

Some brands stick better than others. Patches don't work when you re-stick them so if they are falling off you may want to see about getting them scripted to change every 2 days instead of every 3

Go to your local drug store and purchase bio-occlusive dressings. They are pretty much tailor made to keep patches on.

Another option is hydrogel wound patches. They are round and adhere well.
