Bupe Can I bring my Suboxone to Italy

I live in the US and i'm thinking about doing an exchange program in Italy, would i be able to bring my suboxone with me? Has anyone done it? I know the laws are different for every country and I can't find anything about Italy.
 
As long as you have your prescription (bottle and papers as backup -- the papers that come with your prescription in the bag with the bottle. This isn't needed, but is good as a safety precaution/back up if questioned). I have traveled into 'similar' areas with prescription medication (opioids, benzos, etc.) w/o issue. Airport security was smooth, no questions, you'll be ok.

There are some countries which regard buprenorphine, even in the form of Suboxone, to be an illegal drug, especially in Asia/Oceania. You will have to check foreign laws. I'd contact a lawyer to be sure you know exactly what you're doing when you go to Italy with US pharmaceuticals in your pocket just to be on the safe side. :)

There's nowhere on earth like Italy. I'm not kidding either. %) hahaha. I'm sure you mean Italy. Or maybe another European country??? I'm curious now that I'm thinking about it...

If you obtain it illicitly, I can only say from personal experience I've often travelled with whole blister packs of benzos in my carry-on luggage and nobody has ever given me hassle. And I fly (within Europe) about once a month, and have done for the past 8 years. So IME (but then it is IME) you'd be good either way.

Anyway the legal status of bupe without a script is on par with methadone et al. so yeah, it's illegal.

I did NOT mean Italy (I see that 'like Italy' was an interesting wording choice... but I didn't feel like specifying at the time. HOWEVER: I have changed my mind.). I have brought my prescriptions to Spain, Andorra, France, and Germany. These I consider 'like' Italy, in terms of traveling rules/restrictions and all that jazz. I really do want to travel to Italy - I am sure there really IS no place like it. I imagine it being kind of similar to Southern Spain in terms of the vibes of the people. Anyone know what I mean?

I am sure that the French would disagree that France is like Italy.
 
If its prescribed to you, like im pretty sure it is then you are good! If Its not, when i traveled to Italy i was hooked on Oxys and this is what i did. Buy new deodorant and keep the cap. unravel the whole stick then pop it out, then drop the pills in the bottom of the deodorant and stick the shit back on it and badabing they open the cap they see the protective shit and don't think twice.
