Can ethylphenidate tolerance affect my MDMA experience?

I've had shitloads of homework the previous weeks, therefore I've been using ethylphenidate as a study aid stimulant. The bag is empty now and I've used about one gram on 3 weeks. I can feel I have developed some tolerance, my last dose was today and i did not use it the previous week.

I am however going to a show this weekend and would like to have my second MDMA experience after 7 weeks break from my first.

I am though a little concerned that my ethylphenidate tolerance will affect my MDMA experience? Any cross tolerance? Any less sensitive dopamine receptors that will result in a less magical experience?

Thanks.

I use to take methylphenidate (similar mechanism of action) daily and i actually do believe that it blunted the effects of MDMA. Sooo i stopped taking it up to a week before I was to roll. In my experience, it helped the quality of the roll.

You may have lowered levels of noradrenaline/dopamine in the short term after an ethylphenidate sesh, but I don't think it'll distract all that much from MDMA unless you take the MDMA within 24 hours of your ethylphenidate.

There is a small amount of cross tolerance, but the methods of action are distinct enough to where it won't be much of a problem. Just don't go crazy with it, and if I was you I wouldn't take any a week or two before I planned on rolling, just to let dopamine regenerate.
