Can codeine be extracted from codeine lictus?

Just wondering if it's at all possible to get crystal codeine from codeine lictus and if so how???

AFAIK, its not realistically possible. What's wrong with the lictus the way it is?

Purified codeine is not very stable and linctuses are usually too complex to bother trying to seperate unless you have gallons of the stuff.
