I might be doing some MDMA tonight and I just scavanged my whole house for some form of benzo (I can't take MDMA without a benzo for the comedown) and I found a bottle of thirty 0.5mg Ativan's (Pretty lucky, heh? ;) ), but they're four years old.

Does anyone know if they will still be effective? I can't stand MDMA comedowns and I need a benzo if I do end up doing MDMA.

worth trying them as the worst that can happen is that they dont work.

im getting some mdma for next week (my birthday weekend) going to see green day at wembley.

will be the first time ive done proper mdma in around 18 months,so im expecting a nice hit! =D

Yeah, I plan on trying them because there's really no downfall, the worst that could happen is they don't work. I assume they should still work tho, they've been stored in a cool dry place the whole time. I've heard of people finding drugs that are 100+ years old and them still working.

what are these 100+ year old drugs that you talk of?

I don't remember specifically, but I remember one guy saying he found some Hydromorphone from his grandfather who served in World War 2, alongside with all the equipment to inject it. The bottle/papers in the "pack" he found stated that the Hydromorphone was given to him during World War 2. He injected it and said he's never been so high in his life, he thought the drug may have even GAINED potency over the years.

WW2 may not have been 100+ years ago, but still, 70+ years is a LONG time for Hydromorphone to stay active.

Most drugs have an expiration date because the manufacturer can't guarantee the level of potency after say a year. I'd say go for it. Worse case scenario is it doesn't work quite as strong as they would have 4 yrs ago. I've taken opiates that were 2-3 yrs old and they worked just fine if not better :)
