Can anyone fill a gap in my knowledge?

So not long ago two rc's came into my possession dubbed 'colour' and 'audio'. As far as I can tell the audio is dipt (and I'm still to scared to try it) but I am having a hard time pinning down what the colour's actual name is, it feels like purified psilocybin and I can not recommend it highly enough, but I would feel better knowing its chemical name. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
 
Are they brand name powders that you got at a store or did someone actually sell you something and called it audio and the other colour?

I'm sorry dude... No disrespect intended or anything... But what the hell were you thinking ingesting something sold to you in such a misleading way? This business is sketchy enough with all the mislabeling and other subterfuge without adding ludicrous names such as those to the mix. Did you at least reagent test them to possibly narrow down what they could have been? I would be worried that I was consuming p-chloroamphetamine or p-methoxyamphetamine or worse if I was given a random powder like this.

I second the question of Salute My Shorts, was this sold by a vendor? Or was this a case of someone popping out of an alleyway and whispering 'Psst... Hey, you wanna get airborne?' Did you request more information on the substance, or just take it as it was no questions asked? What form was it provided in? What were the dose ranges, if any? Please tell me this wasn't a case of "Do a bump the size of a match-head" or something similar...

Honestly, I'm about positive this sort of thread is not allowed here, but my morbid curiosity has been peaked by this...
 
send "colour" for testing to a specialized lab. thats the only way to know for sure.

other than that, ID threads are not allowed i think
 
I'm 25 and have a back ground in psychopharmacology, I'm a big boy and made a big boy decision to put something in my body. I just figured if I got my hands on it someone else would know a little more about it. I'm curious wether its refined from mushrooms or made completely synthetically.
 
Honestly, feeling like mushrooms is not a lot to go on. It is almost certainly not refined from mushrooms. Chances are it's one of the multitude of 4-HO/4-AcO substituted tryptamines that are going around these days. They're far too easy to lay hands on for someone to even bother to attempt to extract psiloc(yb)in from mushrooms, especially considering that 4-AcO-DMT is widely believed to metabolize into psilocin upon ingestion, and is KNOWN to deacetylate into psilocin upon exposure to heat and oxygen.

That being said, it could be a multitude of other psychedelics as well. You didn't answer the questions about dose and form though. How was it given to you? Pressed pills? Gelcaps? Liquid? Powder? What is the dosage? What does it look/smell/taste like? These things won't narrow it down all that much, although it might help cross a few things off the list. Do you have access to a reagent kit to do a Marquis/Mecke/Mandelin test on them?

"big boy decision" or not you displayed rather poor judgement. People selling RC's with catchy marketing names are the scum of the earth and should not be supported. You could submit a sample for analysis though EcstasyData if you were so inclined
 
Your background in psychopharmacology was clearly wasted on you or you would know that it is impossible to answer your question with any degree of accuracy. Why don't you pull up your big-boy undies and put in the full effort to win a Darwin Award and just ingest the other?
 
Whatever your background may be you still took an unknown rc, compounds which have doses ranging from sub milligram dosages to 50mg.
How could you be sure the dose you took wouldn't incapacitate or even kill you?
The fact remains what you did was reckless, I'm not judging just pointing it out, I've done many reckless things in regards of dosing drugs.
As well it would be reckless of me to make any sort of guess as to what rc you took, there's simply no way of knowing.
Home test kits can narrow it down, laboratory testing can pinpoint for you, that's all the advice I can give, and this will be closed soon anyway, ID threads are not allowed
 
Before it gets closed, I have a green lighter question, possibly of silly proportions: is it 'standard practice' to reagent test all things you receive, or.....?
 
Well hang on, OP isn't strictly asking for ID. If I said someone gave me something called Nexus and I asked what that was, there'd be an easy answer: 2C-B. That's what he's doing. It's like asking "What's acid / what's dope / what's [insert slang here]", only this is more obscure. If on the other hand I described the effects of a substance and asked someone to tell me what I'd taken, THAT would be against the rules.

Having said that, I have to agree with the others - if you've studied pharmaceuticals then it was an alarming decision to take something sold under a suspicious name that you knew nothing about. It's your body, but if it were mine I'd be a LOT more careful with it.

Many of us do, because you never know when a vendor might accidentally send you the wrong substance (it does happen sometimes).

I also take an allergy dose of 0.5mg before doing a full dose.

Might have a background in " Psychopharmachology " ... But you still dont know what you got tho ey ? Haha, clever, how would an open forum know ?

And yeh these threads arnt allowed because they go nowhere to help identify but speculation.
 
Sorry, brand named RCs could be anything. Literally. Avoid using suppliers that label their products with "brand names". Send your stuff into a lab for testing.
