Can any other drugs cause black outs besides alcohol and benzos?

I think black outs sound intense (even though i have never experienced one), but i was wondering if any other drugs can cause you to black out, besides alcohol and benzos, Such as heroin, crack, cocaine, meth, Prescription drugs etc

yes all of these and more. with the stimulants is more from sleep deprivation than the actual effect i think
ghb/gbl are the most blackouty drugs ive tested
 
I once blacked out using amitriptyline combined with beer about 25 years ago. I was at home watching tv with my dad and next thing I knew it was the next morning and I was still on the sofa. Had no recollection if I did anything stupid and asked "Pop was I ok last night?" He told me the night was uneventful and I left it at that. Highly frightening.
 
Barbiturates. Also, muscle relaxants (actually tricyclic antidepressants) like cyclobenzaprine and amitriptyline.

I'd imagine high dose anticholinergics/antihistamines would also lead to a black out.
 
X drugs like Zolpidem, (Ambien) are the worst imo, but i guess they prob count roughly as benzos
 
I actually lied lol, i have blacked out once from taking too much shrooms but i dont like talking about it because i woke up crashed into 2 parked cars on someones driveway, with the airbag in my face and my car totalled. It was a very intense and frightening experience, and a horrible one. Yeah i heard sleep deprivation when you have been up long enough most likely from meth can cause black outs is that true?
 
i don't know if lunesta (sleeping pill) is considered a benzo but it will make you black out and it completely wipes out your memory when your on it.

I wouldn't say falling unconscious is the term blacking out was coined for. I've used GHB recreationally for a while and I have yet to do something I did not remember. Despite multiple unconscious doses.
 
Ambien type drugs (lunesta, sonata, etc) make me black out every time I take them, which I'm happy to say is never.


Anymore anyhow. Useless fucking drugs. Absolute nightmares. Tenfold worse than a phenazapam blackout I can assure you. Avoid Z drugs whenever possible. My2c.

That is totally opinion. I don't actually have an issue that bad with blacking out on zolpidem, I normally just have a shady recollection of it all but far from a blackout. And I love the way that ambien feels.
 
Fuckin aye man I remember when mother would take her ambien and lose memory completely.
I've told this story before and it sucks. I miss you and wish you were here with us. Happy Christmas

I've never lost my memory on ambien, and when my got my one and only prescription the second day i snorted 6 pills and remember seeing DOUBLES of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING it was kinda cool, and than i threw up and my uncle found out so he had to take me to the hospital even though i wasn't even overdosed. I did notice the effect of ambien where some things like words on the computer screen moving around slightly etc.
 
I've blacked out from both heroin and oxy before but it wasn't nearly as powerful as the few benzo blackouts I've experienced where I couldn't remember anything for days.
 
definitely used to black out a lot when I was addicted to opiates. not like benzos where you lose a whole stretch of time, it's just that you only remember the big picture of what happened while on them but no minor details. it sucked cuz I was a *total* asshole to people while on em.
 
What are opiate black outs like, do you black out completely for a short period or what because i never knew you could black out from heroin or opiates xd
 
when I did heroin I would know pretty much what happened while I was on it, but it just seems so foggy and faded and I can't remember specific dialogue or things like that.
