so ive been on 10mg of Celexa for a month, and now 20mg of Celexa for 2 weeks now, and ive noticed a very loud intense buzzing sound in my head, very irritating, lasts a while, ive already had tinnitus since i was little, but its always just been a high pitch ring, not this low pitch buzzing :/ is it just me thinking im hearing that sound? or could it be the Celexa?

I took Celexa for about 2 years, also in low doses like you. It was kinda sorta helpful (on Lamictal now which is much better for me) but SSRIs like citalopram (celexa) have a lot of side effects. You should give your dr a call about that one, or just drop into a pharmacy and ask. I've randomly asked pharmacists questions, especially later at night when they're bored and they are actually interested in answering them about side effects and interactions that normally.

thank you thank you, also, are antidepressants always a long term deal, im recovering from ecstasy abuse, but im very saddened when i think im going to have to wake up everyday and take antidepressants and xanax :/ is the celexa healing my brain or just helping me cope?

Celexa and xanax is what I was prescribed for quite some while, now lamictal and xanax. Taking a long break from drug use and let your brain heal after the mdma by spacing out your uses (check out our Ectasy forum for a ton of into on that) and you can take any SSRI not forever, just for a period of time while though through shit. There is a "discontinuation syndrome" so you will need to work with a dr when you are weaning off of them to minimize sypmtoms.
