Can amphetamines be used in a productive non destructive manner?

^yes, and the after effect of a heavy stim binge can be really devastating. I think a lot of people get the impression that speed is a relatively easy kick compared to say, heroin or Xanax, and while there is some truth to that, the depression following the acute crash can be very debilitating and last a very long time. I can kick back from an opiate run faster than I can from a coke/amp/other stim run actually.

Well, I believe high dopamine doesn't cause poor attention/focus. But due to an increased desire to do something constantly, they have a high tendency to start something (hyperfocusing) and then never finish because they suddenly saw something else to focus on

Understimulation = impaired cognition
Baseline = good cognition
Overstimulation = superior cognition BUT possibly prone to distraction (due to not being able to control the overactivity)
 
Greatest Drugs For Productivity

During my life of drug use, I have noticed that certain drugs increase my productivity, motivation, and creativity. These drugs quite obviously mostly consisting of stimulants.

1. Dexedrine (Dextroamphetamine)- A stimulant working mainly on dopamine. Dextroamphetamine has a little less of a motivational boost than adderall (amphetamine salts) since adderall consists (of an amphetamine that works on the Norepinephrine site of your brain. Norepinephrine aka the Flight or Fight response is believed to be a chemical in the brain that can cause feelings of motavation,where as dopamine ( it also controls some motivational aspects, though not as much as norepinephrine) being the "reward site" of the brain, causes more of a euphoric , confident-type feeling than Norepinephrine.
In my expierence/opinon, dextroamphetamine is the best in terms of creativity. Things like writing stories, making music etc.
2. Adderall (Amphetamine salts)- is a stimulant that is very similar to dexedrine. Dexedrine= 100% d-amphetamine. Adderall(I believe)= 25%D-amp saccharate, 25%amphetamine aspartate monohydrate, 25%damp sulfate, USP, 25%amphetamine sulfate, USP.
Adderall is (imo/ime) less good for creativity/sociability but better for stuff like physical jobs, writing papers, and generally getting stuff done. i dislike it compared to dexedrine mainly because it causes peripheral side effects which dexedrine doesn't. Adderall causes much more anxiety and I don't really get any anxiety from dex. Nevertheless, Adderall is still a good drug for productivity.
3. Desoxyn/Methamphetamine- I can't really judge desoxyn because I've never done it and I've done street meth twice. To me, the street meth caused time to go by fast, I do remember a sharp focus feeling (though I have read because methamphetamine affects serotonin, so it doesn't have that sort of "forced focused" feeling that adderall gives you, I know when I did it. it had very similar focus effects.) To me, the twice I did street meth, focus wise-big improvement, creativity wise- probably a slight boost of creativity, I feel like meth has a really good potential to boost creativity enormously, but the "tweaky, shaky," side effects, and to me, the way time passed by so fast, I don't think it would help all that much in the end. Maybe desoxyn has a cleaner feeling so it is really good for creativity..?
4. Ritalin (Methylphenidate)- also a stimulant, methylphenidate has an intense focus/concentration increase, giving a feeling of being able to "follow through" with stuff. A motavation increase and slight creativity increase. It has negative effects on terms of being able to be social.

If you guys have any expierences/opinions about drugs that increase productivity, please share[:
 
I thought I would be super productive on meth, but the few times I've tried it, I get super productive and hyperfocused on just the stupidest random shit of-no-use.

Enough caffeine or addys make me fall asleep. Prob have ADHD. Coke makes me relaxed. Meth just really fooooocused.

So I'm prob not a good average sample.

edit: tramadol is my answer, and for certain things, good heady weed.

I will tinker and clean for hours on end with a good opiate buzz. I wouldn't be content doing that on any other sort of high really.

Still we have to take into account he had a genius brain so he could cope with the amphetamine much differently than average any one of us.

It might also be possible Erdos was in fact amp addict who couldnt risk slowing his pace (Now all I see is a blank piece of paper. ...) so he just kept taking the shit until his death ;)

Whatever is the truth is, an average speed freak like me can use it as a nice excuse when taking the 9th redose in a day: The famous mathematician did it too!!! :\
