No it depends how high you are. I was on methadone maintanancefor years and when I would up my dose I would nod out and it drove me nuts. Ya know your fucked up when u nod but i get irritated when I can't quit nodding.

I used to but the only opiate i can get is codeine.. and while I seem to process it to morphine more efficiently than most, once I developed a tolerance (and thanks to the ceiling effect of how much will be converted), no more nod.. it's been about 3 years since i could nod on it... But I'm still chasin the feeling of even being the tiniest bit above flat average

Methadone made me nod hardcore, to the extent that it became annoying and troublesome. I couldn't drive or anything. Now I enjoy a good nod like everyone else but not all of the time. Also, opiates can produce different types of nods.

I don't shoot for the nod by taking larger doses than I need to, but when it happens it is oh so nice. Opiates just put me in a good place, the nod is somewhere opiates have taken me on a few occassions, and when they have it has been heavanly. I did get a bit frustrated once that I wasn't nodding, but it was oxy, not so noddy, nevertheless I felt great. IV Fentanyl in hospital setting has induced the nod, but there were other meds involved (anti-histamines and anti-emitics) so that may have dampened the experience, but the nod from fentanyl wasn't as euphoric as with other opiates. It was pleasant, no doubts about it, and I hadn't a care in the world, but it just wasn't very cozy compared to other opiates. The rush, though, was nice. Of course I was in the hospital so it wasn't exactly a cozy enviroment.

generally speaking using and not having a nod is great. Nod's can be uncomfortable in an unsafe way, or fun in a relaxed state of mind way. Strong nods I like to always avoid as its never fun. When I WOULD do dope, after I would bang I'd go into lalala land and yea nod. Nodding in a fun way to me is when you feel like youre hallucinating but your just day dreaming and it feels real if that makes sense. Like dazing off into the clouds is a gooood example
