I've noticed a couple times that after taking 2c-c, my tolerance to caffeine goes way up. This makes sense since both are stimulants and probably work on similar receptors in the brain. But what I want to know, and hopeful others with experience can shed some light on this, is whether it works the other way around - that is, does becoming tolerant to caffeine affect the potency of 2c-c (or any other 2c)? In other words, if I want to trip on a 2c this weekend, would it be best to abstain from caffeine until then?
I try to abstain from caffeine generally and so the last two times trying 2c-c weren't good tests of this, but I will give myself caffeine days (usually Friday). But if I plan to trip on a 2c on Saturday, would my tolerance be shot by consuming caffeine on Friday?
