Hi guys - Sometime when I drink coffee and I sometimes do get a rush. My heart rate tends speed up like crazy and feel this strange rush in my head also. Perhaps due to the quick instant raise of the blood pressure.
Would taking a shot of hard liquor like Vodka would help to reduce my heart rate and this rush-like feeling from the caffeine and the sugar?
It is a really really scary feeling. I had it yesterday also. My heart rate would speed up really fast and get panicy which makes this feeling even worse than it is.
Drinking large amounts of cold water does help though by diluting the caffeine/sugar from the bloodstream. But not much...
And I will admit this....Sometimes when I get really tired, I do take 3 of those instant NesCafe pack...The strong ones. There green pak sticks. And I take three of those plus the sugar.
So would drinking about a shot of liquor in order to come off this "rush", would this usually help or tend to raise the blood pressure even more?
