The title fairly well sums it up.
I tried taking 2g of caffeine today, which would usually put me into mild tachycardia and make me shake like Michael J. Fox. But I mixed with 80mg of the non-selective beta-blocker propranolol, and found the experience to be very enjoyable. No shakes, no racing heart rate.
Effects lasted around 4 hours, as is typical of caffeine. Not much of a crash, although I'm not prone to them. Without peripheral effects, it reminded more of a nootropic than a stimulant. Highly recommended.
