Caffeine Modafinil cross tolerance?

Is there a cross tolerance between the two? I take 200-300 mg of modafinil daily and it seems like caffeine has a very weak effect on me, even though I drink about 300-500 mg of it at a time, usually multiple times a day.

I couldn't find much information online but I found a reddit thread that people were saying, based on personal experience, that they think it doesn't in it. I wouldn't consider reddit a reliable source though, especially if the people don't even know the answer for sure, so I'd still appreciate replies to this.

I have adrafinil which gets metabolized into modafinil, and I'm about to take my second dose today. I've been on it a few days. I'll drink some coffee shortly after and let you know how it goes. I don't see how there would be a cross tolerance other than maybe you'd be noticing the caffeine effects less due to the "wakefulness promoting" effects of the modafinil, which caffeine does as well - albeit it through a different mechanism.
