CA, San Francisco - 10.02.2004 ***LOVE PARADE***

someone should edit the title to reflect to this page with the info :)

Parade Location and Time:
The parade procession kicks off at 1pm in downtown San Francisco's financial district on Beale Street between Mission and Market. The procession then heads along the scenic waterfront to 3rd Street, where it will then head to Terry Francois Blvd for a post-parade festival. This post-parade festival will run until approximately 9pm and will be composed of the floats and DJs that took part in the parade.

Floats should begin gathering at 9am on Beale Street, arriving no later than 12 noon.

Suggested donation is $5 for entry to the post-parade festival.

Be Prepared for San Francisco
October is one of our warmest months - San Francisco's summer is in the fall. But the weather can be unpredictable so it's good to bring layers and warm clothing.

Bring sunscreen and drink lots of water.

RECYCLE ..RECYCLE ..RECYCLE!! We urge you to keep our beautiful city CLEAN and help keep our landfills as clear as possible. Many trash cans have recycling cages (for plastics, aluminum, and glass). Be sure to find these cans and use them!

And Don't Forget...
Alcohol is for sale to those 21 or over in designated beer gardens with proper ID only. Alcohol distributed to minors will be confiscated and will be grounds for eviction from the post-parade festival site.

Unauthorized vending is not permitted.

Protect your valuables. Love Parade SF is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

No nitrous tanks, fires, fireworks, open flame BBQs, or weapons.

Have fun! Be safe, responsible and respectful. We strive for the continued success of Love Parade San Francisco, so share the love!

The love parade sounds like a great idea and I am sure that it will be a great party. Although from the looks of this lineup so far it really doesn't seem have much in common with the parade from Berlin. Now obviously I know that the one that used to be held in Berlin was much larger, but I mean they should at least try to get some of the same type of Dj's. It would be nice to see Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Digweed, Carl Cox and some other European house and progressive Dj's. Either way I am sure that all who attend will have fun. I really need to start getting to some of these larger scale festivals while they are still going on.

There's going to be some good floats by looking at the line-up of DJ's. We have a couple friends that are going to doing floats too. Probably too late for a Bluelight float eh?

Hopefully I'll see some of you guys in the bay area. I'll be around.

yes yes i will be there, and dammmnnnn thats tite to see how many peeps from the bay area, i had posted this on RaveMatch.com to see who was coming, and no replies and look there is lie 10pages here. thumbs up to BL

Adam Beyer (Drumcode, Intec, Junior Boys Own)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

i nearly soiled myself:)

I saw Adam Beyer and Miguel Migs were on the lineup and they are surely some Dj's that would have played in Berlin. To CravNbeets, nice work on getting out west from Ohio, there always seems to be more than a few quality events going on in Cali alone. I really need to get out there sometime soon and see what its all about out there, Hopefully next summer.

thats ok, you dont have to be, nor do you have to go on the site, but i found out about BlueLight through there and i am sure that probably other peeps have too.

Yeah, go fuck yourself and your California-centricism. There are two other cities on the west coast: Seattle and Vancouver. And they're both just as good, if not better, cities than San Fran.

there are 2 cities that can be refered to as 'the city' in the united states. one east of the mississippi, the other west. SF is the one in the west. NY is the one in the east. that is all.

Very excited about Donald Glaude... have the plane tickets and the hotel booked. I'm sure there will be more great djs to come Gerr UT... plus it's not like we all can't throw down together and have a blast regardless of who is playing...but I agree, hopefully we will see a few more names show up. Either way.... I'm going... and I can not wait!
