CA, San Francisco - 10.02.2004 ***LOVE PARADE***

i find it weird that for an event of this scale they havent A. released any more info and B. they arent contacting any one who sent in applications for floats.

a friend who runs a huge night in SF sent info in awhile ago and wouldnt be someone brushed off hasnt heard back, nor has a few other locals i know who sent info in. they also tried contacting the people with no info replied.

Im wondering about this myself... Also there is no secured line-up fpr this event which makes me wonder at the quality of performers that will be booked, anyone have any new info?
Well regardless I will be in SF that weekend along with some friends so at least we will be able to check out the club scene if things don't go down the way they are planned.

I've already spent 350 for plane tickets from Indianapolis and am about to book hotel rooms. We are going regardless. Never been to San Fran but have always wanted to go.... even if this doesn't happen, I'm sure the night life is a blast. I too have also tried emailing their contacts to find out what the hell is up, but with no luck. I've checked out several club websites but noone has anything posted yet either (although it is a little early). Does anyone that lives in the area have a clue? Any promoters from San Fran hear anything????

get fucked up in san francisco for 4 days with good people

listen up gangstarr ANYTHING is better than "the city" i've never heard such a blatant east coast bite in my life=D

in all fairness though "frisco" isnt a city it's sandwich from hardees

i think any city that has shitty cities surrounding it will be called "the" city. and yeah, "frisco" is also a sandwich at Steak n Shake.

Well...in all fairness, it is pretty much the only real city we have on the west coast, hence the name "The City" but continued further as "The City by the Bay".

Of course, Andy, Jim Rome hates that terminology and constantly talks shit about how San Fran is not the City by the Bay, but rather just a city by a body of water.

didn't the east coast bite it from London? surely you guys don't believe you're that original ;)

and yeah, i'd like to see a love parade happen, but if it doesn't i'm still going to rock out with a bunch of bluelighters. i mean, look at starscape this year. tons of people that went to meet up and party didn't even attend the event and it still sounded great. we'll make our own parade.
